Day 4 - AFA '14 (06-12-14) & X'mas Cosfest '14 (21-12-14)

I've been delaying the AFA post because I wanted to post it together with Cosfest! And I'm really lazy. LOL. LIKE I'VE SAID, IT TAKES FOREVER FOR THE PHOTOS TO BE UPLOADED...... So here goes.

Anime Festival Asia '14:

So I decided to attend AFA '14 with the biggest Otaku I've ever known!!! It was really impromptu because I totally didn't know that AFA was happening then and there. I was seriously debating with myself if I should be going on the night before AFA Day 2.. Because firstly, the entrance ticket itself is $13, not to mention that I'll also be spending on merchandises. Secondly, I'll be meeting Liting and Aubrey that night for banquet dinner at the temple... Thirdly, there's Standard Chattered marathon on the next day.. But oh well, I ended up going. And I guess, I'll say I have no regrets.

Met Huiru at Simei's snackshop for lunch.

This guy working there suddenly came over and gave us this free soya-bean. I seriously love this shop, the food is nice and reasonably priced too.

Then we head out to Esplanade~ lol on our way there, we saw a lot of weird looking people, then Huiru and I were like "confirm going to the same place as us", and yep, we're right. LOL. Well, the both of us aren't exactly normally dressed as well. But you don't usually get to dress weirdly without getting judge right? So.. why not? :D

The train at the circle line was really empty, thus we were seated down.

Oh, there's two escalators going upwards at Esplanade, so we took a different one each. She was snapchatting people.

The queue for the ticket was really really long, but at the same time, it was moving really fast so it wasn't really a long wait. I saw my handball senior working there as the queue-director.. lol. And she as wearing her orientation shirt, awkward..

Okay, we took photos with a lot of cosplayers, but I'm not going to post everything because it was a really bad face day and I felt really bad for myself..

Oh, I'm not sure if y'all know this already, but my first manga was Deathnote. It was the bomb man. But when I was in Primary school, I remember being really scared when the Deathnote movie advertisement was airing on TV, then my mum would have to switch to another station. LOL. OOPS! Okay, so, in 2015, Deathnote the musical will be debuting in Japan, I'm not sure if the musical will be brought to other countries, but they didn't say anything. Deathnote's legacy never dies..

This cute guy over here will be starring as Yagami Light, 夜神月 in the musical. Omg, he's so much cuter than the actual Light from Deathnote the movie!!!!!

okay, this girl isn't going to be the Misa-Misa in the musical. She just happened to cosplay as Misa because she's supposedly the guest star of that day. She was an ex-member of AKB48, but I don't know her. lul

Then we started queuing up to enter the merchandise stores. There were many huge-ass wall posters outside the merchandise stores. But sadly, we have to queue around the store, so we don't have time to take pictures with the picture.

But of course, we did it. LOL. SELFIE WITH CIEL-CHAN. No Sebastian though. :(

I wanted to ask Huiru for her photo, then I realized she sent it to me already, but I can't find, so.. too bad. But I uploaded it on twitter previously, and she also posted it on her Instagram~

I was really sad because by the time I entered the store, they told me all Tokyo Ghoul merchandises are sold out. Wtf? It's only the second day.. But okay, it's also the second last day.

This is just me trying to copy Huiru's pose with Ciel though.

We just walked around taking pictures with cosplayers etc.

Oh, we decided to go get cat ears. HAHAHAHA. Normu Kinky.

I wAS really happy when I first saw Kaneki, Like, oh my god. And this guy has one hell of a sexy back. His costume was bare-back, LOL. Then his friend took photo with us to, I can't figure out who's his friend cosplaying as.. Is it Tsukiyama?

I really took a lot more photos but I really look damn ugly + I'm damn fat, so no... lol

It's really kinda depressing but it's okay.

Oh, she made friends with this Sebastian cosplayer.. Then we found out that that cosplayer is only 14 years old, and she's from my brother's school.. LOL. I asked my bro if he knew her and he said yes. Okay, the world is just so small.

AFA was a really good experience and I definitely will be back in 2015. Hehe~

X'mas cosfest '14:

LOL. Once again, it's with my favorite otaku. Met after lunching with my family, at around 12:30++.. Accompanied her to X-craft to get her second piercing done. It looked scary and gross because.. I don't know. She was complaining about it being painful and I'm just like..... Obviously it'll be painful right dumbass?

This is me trying to wear my contacts on the bus because I'm dumb as hell. Lol I don't think I'll be wearing contact lenses again anytime soon, because I'm really sleep deprived and I can't open my eyes properly everyday. LOL

LOL. She brought along her eyebrow pencil to draw our whiskers. It broke while she wanted to help me draw mine.. You can imagine how violent was she with my poor fragile face. :(

When we went there, the event started off with a mini performance the cosplayer came up with. It was really cool but I had no idea what the hell was happening because I don't even know who are they cosplaying.... Yeah, I don't know nuts other than that few mangas that I read and follow up.

This is why I don't ever wanna wear contact lens when my eyes are dry. LOOKS LIKE I'M BLIND,

BUT, I suddenly thought of something even better... He can be the black hair Kaneki and I'll be the white hair Kaneki, and our child can be the Sasaki Kaneki!!!

Oh ya, I recently found out that one of my Secondary senior became skinny as hell (she used to be quite fat lmao) after she went to JC.. wtf, I really want to know how they did it. fml.

Youngest cosplayer I saw that day. SUPER CUTE. I wanted to take a picture of him but he was quite reluctant.. Then his mother forced him to pose for me. wOW, she must be one hell of an otaku. LOL

The following 3 cosplayers are some winner for some online cosplaying competition, lol, they're really cool. And they flew in from other countries. If I'm not wrong, it's Philippine, Vietnam and Indonesia respectively.

There were two Elsa cosplayer that day! Out of which, one was performing Let it go on stage. She kinda went off-tune a little but nobody even said anything because we were all singing along, having fun. Some of the cosplayers even danced along off stage. Super nice to look at!

They were posing for the professional camera (I didn't bring mine, lul), then after they were done, they wanted to leave... Then they realized that there's this idiot (me) trying to take a photo of them using my pathetic (~~not really~~) phone, so they went back to their original pose. Omo, so NAISEU!!

lul this idiot. She claimed that she didn't have $4 to buy the kuroshitsuji files, but she ended up spending $10 on the posters. LOL.

I bought one One Piece file for my brother. He told me he likes Highschool DxD but I couldn't find anything.

oh right, there were a lot of photographer with them professional cameras there. They were taking photos of all the cosplayers! Wanna know something hilarious? Two photographers approached us and got us to pose for them too, LMFAO. HAHAAHHA. I was telling Huiru that, we're prolly gonna be labeled as "Excited otakus coming down for the event with kawaii cat ears and whiskers" LOL. Hilarious.

I literally screamed when I saw him because it's my first time seeing a Tsukiyama cosplAYER. And damn, he pulled off the character really well. He was also really sassy, the way he talked. He told me to pose with him the "hanky scene" then I'm like, wait what, what hanky scene?! Shit, I was an embarrassment, I'm sorry. But yep, he asked me who was my favourite character, and I told him Kaneki, then he told me to go away, LOL. OOPS. I LOVE YOU TOO ACTUALLY!

Anyways, I'm sure everybody already know about the current blog war saga. LOL. I was reading through some comments made by the netizens and I'm just like.... 99% of them are really stupid and dumb. They seriously... They're just speaking up for people brainlessly. Seriously, just shut the fuck up, stop making yourself look stupid, they're not going to appreciate you for speaking up for them, they prolly don't give a fuck either. LOL. But yeah, I'm currently a nuffnanger, I've been using nuffnang since I started blogging but I totally forgot about it until earlier this year. Oops!
