two things you don't expect at work

If you know me well enough, you should know I'm currently working for National Geographic under World Edu League. My work-life is really complicated so if you wanna know more, just ask me about it. HAHA. I have like so many jobs but I'm earning so little.... Shoot me in the mouth please.

Okay so I went to work for my recce trip yesterday. And when Crystal and I stepped into the office, we got a shock of our lives.....

LMAO.

Maybe the lion dance ain't that surprising la but then there's this 财神爷. HAHAHA. CUTE.

We were semi-deaf by the time they left.

Omg! The whole company was taking this group photo and Mary told Crystal & I to join in. Aww. I was touched.. I mean, after all, we're just some part-time scrubs. Joan, Shirleen and Cassandra also quite awkward because they're the new full-timers I think?

tHENNNN they had louhei, which is Charmaine's fav part of CNY. Crystal and I went to the smaller meeting room while the rest went to the bigger one for the louhei la. After awhile, Joan came in and told us to join in. Omg so sweet?

There were two platters.

Omg the things they shouted during louhei were damn cute. They were like "high commission ah!" "full school subscription!" "hit target ah" "2 million subscribers !!!" LOL HAHA CUTEEEEE. It must be NY & CLEx's influence, I really like it when the environment is lively and the people are bonded. It's really so much easier to get by in such environment.

Okay we were actually supposed to meet Joan at Telok Blangah Hill Park, but she told me she had something in the office at 9 (The CNY celebration lor) so we had to meet her at Taiseng. At first we were slightly happy because we thought we could cab down to TBHP but apparently we couldn't because it's only a recce trip, not the actual thing.... Shoot me in the mouth. Adult fare..

Crystal and I also found out (something) really damn fucking interesting.. So we were (researching) on the (something) through out the whole train ride to Tiong Bahru. LOL. Joan was openly judging us too.

"Forest of giant" was nothing but a disappointment. Bad shakey photo taken on the way up to the actual trail route because super sian to climb up the damn slope.

We saw a squirrel.. I scare it off bc of my shutter sound. Sorry. LOL. NO FLASH THOUGH.

LOVE THIS. I'll totally bring along my camera the next time I go for the trip, aka next Friday. yaY.

I actually don't get why they need guides when there are signage everywhere. But okay, I shall not complain, if not i'll be jobless. And my job is actually quite cool. Hehe. Oh, I wanted to sign up to be camp instructor too but they require us to either dye or spray our colored hair black.. So forget it man. I don't wanna further damage my rotten hair.

Btw Joan was like "There's this tree I'm gonna show you. Y'all confirm know what's that the moment you see it" and we're like "Okay, bring it on bruh." Then she showed us the .... bamboos...... and when she asked us whats that, the first thing I said was "sugarcane" LOL FML DUMB BRAINFART MOMENTS......... THERE WAS THIS REALLY AWKWARD SILENCE. SIGH.

Ended our recce trip at around 12pm? Left my earpiece with Crystal.. Then had to take the 30km bus journey without music. So sian.

Went home to eat some trash, slept till 430pm then had my dinner.

I was supposed to meet Chaoshun & Jiamao at 6pm to gym but since Chaoshun didn't shave his head outside, we ended up meeting an hour earlier at 5pm. LOL. SHOOT ME PLS. Totally ruined my meal-rest-gym timeline. :(

HAHA Ran for 5km nia because I already ran my usual full set the other day and I thought since I'm working from 7:30am - 9:00pm the next day (today) I shouldn't overwork myself.... but..... I'll tell you later.

Stupid Chaoshun's snapchat. Oh add me on snapchat @CharmaineTwqx HAHAHA. I wanted to change my un to Chasoobao but can't sia :(

I told Jayden I cycled 5km and he said "Cool but you can't cycle 5m IRL" or something along that line.... LOL HAHAHAH Okay, it was funny.

Mavis came down to find us and we went for froyo and drinks.

Okay, back to today..........

I woke up once at 4am, to Crystal's text saying she's down with flu and might not make it for work today. And my first thought was "fuck my life", then the usual shoot me in the mouth feeling. But nevermind.... I woke up again at 5:15am then got ready for work.

I was damn early today.. I'm literally the first person to report in the office today at around 7:10am? LOL. NOBODY else were in the office except the cleaner aunty and I. So I went into the meeting room to sleep. I woke up at around 7:40am? I was like ??????? because I was still the only one in the office when all trail guides were supposed to report at 7:30am...... So I checked my phone and.................

LOL. FML RIGHT??????????

And it was raining so I was damn drenched when I walked from the office building to the MRT to meet Joan and Audrina (the other guide). Omg I was freezing.... I'm a 怕冷不怕热 person okay.. =__=

Joan is nice though, she bought us drinks. And me; being the retard who was already freezing, bought iced coffee. Omg. I'm actually relatively high on caffeine now man. Gah....

I went to my mum's office after we finished our small coffee talk session.

I still have another job tonight from 6-9pm... But okay at least I get to rest and don't have to work back to back I guess. hehe. But bruhhh I ate 3 chicken floss bread as of 11am. Damn full. Mad dog... LOL
