day 6/7 - Ketchup w/ homies

Omg so sorry for the super late post but better late than nothing.

Okay so that day, I decided to go for movie with Pingli and friends in the morning/afternoon because it has been 2 or 3 years since we last met up?

Met at Tampines Mall's Tsukemen for lunch. Siti didn't join us for lunch because it's obviously not halal... LOL. Sorry bruhh.

Omg ever since I went for the sibei good ramen with Minqi, I'm low key obsessed with ramen.. And this taste not bad too. Oh look at the free upgrade of noodles.. I kinda think my bro can finish perhaps 3 or 4.. 5 too extreme for him but if he's starving, he prolly can finish it too? LOL HAHAHA. Yeah my bro is insane, insanely fat.

And I thought this allergy warning sign is cute LOL.

pINGLI!!!!! okay, notice how most restaurants (even the 老街肉骨茶) are making use of iPads to take orders? LOL omg one day the service line will die out and there'll be even more competition in the workforce sia.

Okay this is my ramen (ラーメン). LOL I ordered the red soup base. There's a total of 3 different soup bases; red, white and black. I think Yusuan ordered black, I ordered red and Shuqin ordered white. Black is still the best eh. I think white is the "original" pork based soup, red is with chili while black is garlic? I think... Black is the best, even the one in OG. omg. haha. I need to have more ramen in my life. But then again, good ramen in Sg are mostly extremely overpriced because they're mostly franchised or flown in from Japan.

We decided to go get our movie tickets after lunch when Siti came. Actually Shuqin didn't wanna have lunch with us but because she came earlier, she ended up eating the ramen with us too. LMAO.

Okay then we went to get our movie tickets. The original plan was to watch "How to be single" (yeah this just further shows how mudafaking late this blogpost is), but the timings for the show were really weird.. So we went for the show with the best possible timing which also doesn't seem all that bad - London has fallen.

We then went to shop for snacks after getting our tickets.

Wa I swear they're like low key insane when it comes to shopping for food. We bought like crazy ass amount of food. I mean, who else would buy a huge box of Koko Krunch into the theaters... Pingli brought her laptop bag so we kinda squeezed everything in.

Kinda funny how Shuqin was like "huh? We watching London is falling down ah?" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Really bought lots of food man.

I thought it was damn cute because there were actually quite a lot of older people inside.. HAHA.

Basically just us (me) taking photos shamelessly in the not-so-dark-dark during the advertisements and trailers.

Thinking about it, I really watched a lot of movies this year.. Perhaps more than I ever did for the past 6 years of my life? I'm not really a fan of movies because it really cost quite a lot and I just don't really see the need to splurge on something I can eventually get online or in the form of the DVD where I can actually watch them over and over again. Lemme recount the movies I've watched so far in 2016 - Star Wars:The Force Awakens, Ip Man 3, Dirty Grandpa, The Boy, London Has Fallen, Zootopia, Batman v Superman... That's all that I can remember.. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay, back to London Has Fallen. Well, I thought it was a pretty cool movie. It pretty much gives me the same feels Zootopia gave because it kinda talks about terrorism, which is a really glaring threat in our world today. Deterrence and Diplomacy are equally important in maintaining peace in Singapore I guess...

We went to get Bingsu (팥빙수) after the movie. Lols and that was my virgin experience with bingsu..

Okay so we went to this place called Nunsongyee (눈송이) and my first ~~and only~~ impression was just "lol overpriced ice".. Yeah that prolly made me sound/look bad but that's what I really felt.

I really don't see the need to go crazy over this Korean dessert, especially after I tried it myself.

Uhh okay, as you can see, we bought 3 for 5 people to share.

Mango bingsu - $18.90; a fanciful bowl of ice topped with mango which looked like they came out of a can instead of it being freshly peeled and chopped like I would have expected an almost $20 bowl of dessert to be. Okay, it came with a scoop of mango ice cream bad a few slices of cheesecake cubes and that's it.

Injeolmi bingsu - $14.90; I really don't know what's this bowl of almond-flavoured-looking-bingsu supposed to be so I went to google it.

Wow much effort? Lol and all I can say is that it's nothing like whatever google said. LOL. If my memory from more than 1 month ago doesn't fail me that is.

Oreo bingsu - $12.90; it's really just shaved ice with a milk shot and lots of oreo crumbs and a scoop of what seemed like ole plain-old vanilla ice cream.

Here's the receipt. LOL. Luckily there ain't additional GST/service charge (it's prolly included in the stated price though, I'm not sure) or I'll prolly kill somebody.

Okay, after that really long and distasteful rant about how pricey bingsu can get, I just wanna confess that I actually did not fork out a single cent for it that day because it was on Pingli. Aww. She said it's for me to calm my restless heart as it was Alevel's results day the following day. I am so thankful for such friends. And also, she told me she believes that I can definitely do well, like I did for O's. //ps I didn't "do well" for O's though, just better than what most people was expecting from me.

Yeah so I guess that's about it with them. Thank y'all for the short catch up session. :)

Okay this one I remember, each of us got a 3 to start the game with. Cool.

Then after that we started drinking the fucking cocktail and played some drinking games which I really cannot recall anything about it.

OKAY I ACTUALLY WANTED TO POST SOME PHOTOS BUT I REALLY CANNOT BRING MYSELF TO BECAUSE IT LOOKS TOO BAD.

AND I APPARENTLY SENT OUT A LOT OF WEIRD AS FUCK SNAPCHATS AND MADE A FEW WEIRD AS FUCK PHONE CALLS AND SHIT. lol. fuck I hate alcohol. And in all honesty, I wasn't drunk. I knew what was going on but I did t anyways. I don't know why. Alcohol really kinda has the influence on people I guess.

And, for some reason, known or unknown, I felt an immense, unfathomable sense of sadness overwhelming me. It felt so strong I could hardly even breathe. I'm not sure if it's the sense of regret washing over my entire-being or was it the fear of losing; losing people, losing whatever goal I had in mind due to the impeding torment the next afternoon, losing the sense of self and direction in life.. I don't know. As much as I act like it doesn't matter anymore if I lose y'all, I really do hope that things can go back to the way it was. I cannot emphasize on how it was never my intention for things to be the way it is today. It's really up to y'all to believe because after all that is said and done, I really actually might have done the exact same thing if given another chance. I really believe that as humans, we should only live in the moment. It may seem like a no EQ comment or statement but really, it's really what we have at the moment that counts after all, for all that's gone's gone and what's to come is unpredictable. I hope things will get better between us someday, especially for the one that wasn't even directly involved in this whole saga... I don't get you... Sigh.
