Adventure Cove
Finally went to Adventure Cover after 6 months. Omg. I bought the Adventure Cove tickets with Fruit Garden during Alevel's. We were supposed to go together but everybody is just too busy with their own stuffs, work, dating, internship, menses... Oh well, it's never easy to co-ordinate a big group of people anyways. Since Ru can't make it, she sold her ticket to Nicholas.
I was really excited for Adventure Cove after seeing all the mandatory Adventure Cove shots on instagram. Many people also compared Adventure Cove to Wild Wild Wet and most said AC was better so obviously I was looking forward. Met that idiot at Harbourfront MRT in which he was late, as usual. Went for brunch before walking in to Sentosa.
I always snapchat our food but I always forget to save or to use my camera to take a picture so I'm sorry, no foodporn for y'all. And what the fuck, my arm looks fucking huge here. Wtf damn gross........ I don't usually look so disgustingly fat, just sayin'. Oh and usually, he'll snapchat me snapchat-ing food. LOL Goals........jk, it's just gross. Pre-Water selfies. LOL. He totally leached on my sunblock but he ended up getting roasted as well, must be karma. His pants' string was disgustingly entangled.. Posted this on snapchat then removed it when I could feel the tension it created. Thinking back, why did I even care about what others have to say? 我都没有做错什么。。hahahahahahahaha. Okay we rented the lockers, for $10 sia!!!!!!!! Locker rental is for free in USS lor... HAHAHA I'm a cheapskate person, just like Nicholas. We don't have any photos because I totally forgot to bring along the waterproof phone pouch. But okay let me try to summarize what happened that day. The first ride that we went to was The Riptide Rocket, which was the 2-seater ride where you'll get to ride your way on the conveyor belt. That was apparently the "best ride" according to Chang. LOL and yeah that's the first thing we went for. Omg that ride totally broke my neck. LOL IT'S THE ONLY RIDE THAT MADE MY NECK ACHE. THE ACHES WERE DAMN BAD ON THE NEXT DAY.... But yeah it was fun albeit scary. After that we went for the Dueling Racer, which was right beside The Riptide Rocket. It's the one where you lay on top of this styrofoam sheet then compete with your partner to see who gets down faster. I was really skeptical of that ride at first because omg, it's just a styrofoam sheet...how safe can that be man? But then again, yolo, so we went for it. I won. LOL THAT LOSER GOT STUCK, I FORGOT WHY. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Omg it was scary because the mere styrofoam sheet seemed so unreliable. We then went to the AC version of WWW's "Shock River", which was called Adventure River LOL how adventurous. Basically, you just keep going round and round either on the float or just floating about. I personally prefer the WWW's version of the river because the one in AC is way too shallow you can't even stand or swim properly imo. It's really nice to just chill and talk to bae while in the Adventure River though. Oh there was this part of the river where we actually bypass the glass tanks where you get to see the marine creatures. Cool, we even looked into the Dolphin park and saw the dolphins. hahaha. Not a big fan of such parks because the small level of animal cruelty will always be there despite how well their keepers treat the animals because ultimately, the animals are still stripped of their own freedom. Wow such self-righteousness usually disgust me but yeah I guess that's what I really feel. LOL. Oh and there'll be this 2 parts of the river where you'll swim pass the glass panels. The glass panal is obviously very smooth and slippery because it doesn't really have any friction. So bae suggested that we run against the water flow and yeah we did. LOL. Weird, I know. We then went to some Maze which he claimed was under construction the previous time he came with his Army gang. LOL IT WAS DAMN LAME.... And the floor was scotching hot so we just went for the "maze" on the ground and left v quickly. Oh, there are two different mazes, one on the ground and one in the air, which is basically low-level high element challenges... but really, the most challenging thing to do will be to endure the heat radiating off the ground when you queue for the maze. Okay la, the queue wasn't long because we went on a weekday but it was still bad so we skipped it. We then went to the AC version of WWW's "Tsunami" LOL. Omg the water was so damn deep? As a non-swimmer as of now, I was kinda scared but I just wanna play around as well... So I wore the flotation device and hanged onto Chang for my dear life, literally. HAHAHAHAHAH Damn loser but oh my, the waves were really quite violent. We then started queuing up for all the huge slides which you have to carry your own float up before you can enjoy that 12 seconds of ride. Well they were generally fun but not really scary. There's this one where after Chang and I came down on the 2-seater float, he suggested that we should try the 1-steater float... and okay we did. I shouted damn loudly because my float turned when I was going down and I was seated back-facing throughout the entire ride and I was like omg -___- We didn't go swim with the fishes because I can't swim. LOL WHAT A PITY. We went to Splashworks when that old man went ahead and took a plunge while I stood and watch because I do not have enough water confidence. Oh well, next time. Okay if you're wondering how can I remember all the rides' names, well, I can't. I just googled them and landed myself on TheSmartLocal's Adventure Cove guide. HAHAHAHA. BUT I really do remember all the WWW's rides' names because I was really quite a huge fan of WWW when I was younger. HAHA. Used to frequent the chalet during the holidays because my family doesn't really have the chance to travel much. Oh well, it was still enjoyable. We spent about 3-4 hours inside before we decided to go wash up and then leave. Omg the sight in the AC female toilet was rather blinding. There were naked women everywhere. And not that I'm being xenophobic or racist but those that were walking around naked were all PRCs or China-Chinese tourists. LOL. I EVEN WALKED IN ON ONE WOMAN THAT'S BATHING BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T EVEN LOCK THE DOORS........ DEAR LORD................. She then walked out fully naked. lol my eyes.... They damn hairy leh. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA REALLY liked this photo except that the banner wasn't properly taken. Then this is was too bright lel. Posted another snapchat to make up for the one I deleted HAHAHA. This is from bae's snapchat but he looks like an idiot. Luckily I bought bread from Vivo because I was dead hungry by the time we were done. And yeah his snapchat story. Oh my I AM SO HUNGRY NOW AS I TYPE THIS AT 1130PM... JUst look at that jawline. He made a rather funny joke about the donut but I can't remember it. lol he's an idiot. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz HAHAHAHAHHAH LITING SAY HE LOOKS DAMN FUCKING UGLY HERE WHICH IS Miss Sum isn't wrong when she said this idiot is damn good at imitating people. Well, I'm not wrong. Yeah he's #TeamIronMan while I'm #TeamCapt. We saw Ferdi, my handball senior, his handall junior and OGM, like 3 times at Vivo and it kinda got awkward so we ran out of Toys R Us the last time we saw him when he didn't see us. LARGE LLAOLLAO FOR BAE AND I TO SHARe.
Basically all my fav toppings in one cup....
We went back to Simei for dinner. Surprise surprise, we went to Saizeriya. Then he came over and I helped him apply my bamboo cream to sooth his badly burnt skin. HAHAHA. This is a really bad way to sum up what happened after we had llaollao but I really cannot remember much since there isn't any photos. So guys, now you know why I always take photos....... hmm. I need an iPhone with a bigger storage space.
