8,9 July 2017 - JB Trippin' w SECC

okay so the most overly attached comm ever decided to go on our first overseas trip!!! It is literally an overseas trip since we decided to just cross the custom (thus the sea) for a simple short yet sweet 2D1N trip. Rationale: We wanted to go overseas right after SECC but we couldn't due to other commitments the different comm members had eg. NBC, SWOC, Oweek bla bla. So we made up for it with this JB trip. Hehe. I was so excited for this trip. I an proud to announce that the attendance for this trip is at a 85% with 11 of us. TJ couldn't join us because he was sick and Nehneh Kheng didn't join us because he was matchmaking himself in Taiwan.

This post is really relatively late because I was really overwhelmed with so many other things prior to me coming home and becoming addicted to my bro's new desktop I just don't wanna stop using it thus I am doing everything I can with it. hehe - WHICH INCLUDES UPDATING THIS BLOG OF MINE. Oh my.

Okay so we were supposed to meet 7.45am at Woodlands MRT. Bb and I reached at 7.43am, obviously thanks to me, if not he confirm late. PS. I woke up at 6am to get ready then after I washed up and changed he told me that he's lazy + his promocode from Daryl's insurance deal came in so we shall cab to Woodlands. Then he told me to wake him up at 7am. So from 6+am till 7am, I just sat there on his bed staring at him. How nice of him! Okay so back to topic, EVERYBODY was late... :( Kaiqi, who stays at Woodlands, was the last to reach. I am not surprised. :')

Juju was the last and I vaguely remembered how Darren started criticizing her loop earrings the moment she came - typical. Fast forward 1 hour of getting stuck in the bus, we arrived at the checkpoint, queued for another 1 hour bla bla and when we reached the mall it was already noon :'(

Settled for some dtf... hehe

Ordered noods + fried rice to share w Clauds bc we both couldn't make up our mind on what to eat. hehe

Kinda disappointed that it didn't explode.

I've been saying this quite a lot BUT yes, I've drank more bubbletea this year compared to the past 5 years combined... says a lot.. :/

Then the girls went to shop - for make up, clothes bla bla while these lazy guys just nua on the floor outside. HAHAHAHA. After that Darren just went to put black eyeshadow on Kaiqi's arm and chase her around with it.

oKAY, so Juju was really exciting about visiting cafes and all that so after some time in the mall, we moved out to look for the white girl alley.

We vlogged a lot while we try to navigate our way around. It was really cool. HAHA. Hope pubs/Jor will be free enough some day to edit them into something legit. #SECCbezcomm.

Okay so our first stop was Kone - 30, Jalan Dhoby, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.

Juju was really hyped about these soft serve. Personally, I'm not a fan of soft serve so it didn't really appeal to me. I just shared one with Nic.

Nice ambiance though!

Okai, our next stop was the most basic cafe of them all, The Replacement - Malaysia, 33, Jalan Dhoby, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

Tomato soup w grilled cheese, it was segood. Stole Qi's and Darren's.. hehe

The others ordered more food but I didn't because although the cafe food was way cheaper, I still feel like cafe food are overpriced so nah. HAHA. Was whatsapping our AirBnB host while we were eating + trying to get our grab, he was so cute. HAHA

!!! Finally arrived and here's our AirBnB!

They have an infinity pool but we were not prepared for it. TT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So pretty laaaa.

Googled for some seafood restaurant near our place and decided to walk there.

Yumseng.

omg it wasn't as cheap/WORTH IT like we wanted it to be.. The Seafood was meh too. Haha quite disappointing but I guess it'll suffice.

We went to KSL mall to do some grocery shopping before splitting - some of them weren't feeling too well so they went back to wash up and rest while the remaining of us went around to look for massage.

There was a total of 3 massage parlors near us. The first two we went to were both full house and the next available slot was the next morning so we were kinda disappointed. Then we spotted the last one; which was across the road. So we sent Darren across the road to check it out. We then tried to go in after we got over on the other side of the road. I tried opening the doors but it was locked then I was like ??? Then Darren came out laughing... LOL. He told us that the owner said that proper masseurs were back in Indonesia to celebrate Hari Raya, so the only available masseurs are the ones for guys only.. and they only offer B to B services... omg we died SO badly. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA Then throughout our journey back we were just discussing what was B to B.. Body to body? Boobs to balls? LOL

Juju and Gaboo were like damn gian to drink so we ended up at another Tze Char place to get beer before heading back to chill.

OH!!! We saw this in one of the massage parlor that was full house. Sent it to level 6 and tadah!!

It was such a great night with my favorite comm :') We started out playing some chill games, then started talking about real things. I am really glad I came on this trip and get to know them more and also get to share some of my deepest thoughts with them. I've said this so many times but I am really thankful to have chosen this 13 bootiful boys and girls out of so many others. They've made my summer such a fulfilling one. Thank you for everything for the past 1 year. SECC 真的 panggang lo.

We also celebrated Claudy's birthday!!! She was so surprised and happy. :') Really like a kid!!!!

Started the next day later than expected because we slept at like 5am. Like I said, it was really nice, just staying up to talk to each other. omg. :') I love talking to people and really listening and sharing la - but tbh I cannot do this with everybody unless I really feel comfortable with them and that I can trust them.

They kept calling me a Chinese tourist because I was wearing my honestbee lanyard and Minqi's shades.. HAHAHA.

tHEN for the second day, Rong became our tourguide and brought us around for FOOd. We really walked a lot a lot a lot.

Our first stop was this Sushi place we just so happen to chance upon. HAHAHA. PS WE DIDN'T REALLY KNOW WHERE WE WERE SO.. Just enjoy the pics and salivate to death..

Then after walking and walking, we chanced upon this spongecake thing I've been wanting to try in SG but I thought it was too ex. So... omg here's it!!!! WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE, HOT FROM THE OVEN!!! I bought two of those and I'm so happy. HEHE.

After ten hours of walking, we finally reached Diagon Alley - 49-GF, Jalan Austin Heights 8/1, Taman Mount Austin Heights, 81100 Johor Bahru

Yeerong highly recommended that we get something here and so I got a milktea and one of their signature aurora series drink to share w my bae.

freaking LOVE KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN!!!!!!!! Shared them w Gaboo and Darren. Or to be more accurate, Gaboo bought them then Darren and I stole it but I actually paid Gaboo for my share, unsure about DArren (!!!)..

Quite sAd that Yiqi had to leave early to rush back to Singapore for her Bash comm photoshoot. :(

The rest of us just went to KSL mall for a massage, chill around a bit in CBTL before dinner.

Ginger tea which was madly SPICY. HAHA But omg so good to go for a massage after so long (BKK Trip - omg I feel like blogging about it too but there's way too many photos since it's like what, 6D5N? LMAOAOAOAOAOAO HAHAHAHA)

Then Kaiqi and I went to the washroom after the massage hehe.

MY REALLY cute comm was deciding whether to have Swenson's or Manhattan Fish market so we just jumped line in front of the shops. We went to Swenson's anddddd it was a mistake.

Darren's meat + Ham which tasted like mock meat lol

Nic's bologna bun - perhaps the only nice food that night.

Ju's ribs with rice which was a disaster according to her.

omg I weas so disappointed in the trash they throw inside my supposedly black pepper seafood pasta.... LOL AND I HATE IT when the spaghetti is so fAT.. :(

Boooooo it was the worst meal out of the many we had.

AND Juju and I went to get dessert to make up for the bad meal. hehe I freaking love Auntie Anne's. It's my go-to dessert when I was younger but it has gotten so expensive in SG I don't even eat it anymore. I love the sweet ones. HEHE!

The jam at the Malaysia custom for buses back to Woodlands checkpoint was INSANE. And it was getting really late so we decided to walk back. HAHA I love us.

Bae was helping me carry my luggage bag because it's v bulky and he thinks that I'm a vvvv clumsy person, esp on the road, walking against the traffic and all. meh. HAHAHA BUT LUV LUV HEHE TOUCHED!!! ♥♥♥

It was a great trip and I'm looking forward to the next one with this bunch already. :')

PS: TO DEBUNK SOME WEIRD RUMORS WE HEARD IN HALL RECENTLY, Fatty Kheng didn't go with us because he was busy chasing skirts in Taiwan and TJ didn't go because he was sick, not because we ostracize them for being fat and ridiculous. hehehhee
